Too Faced Shadow Insurance: A Bald Eyebrow's BFF - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Believe it or not, there are a few positives to accidentally hacking off your left countenance.
Besides discovering the psychological healing ability of long bangs, Raul's provided the opportunity to solve interesting new bug, like figuring out how to hide a partially bald brow while sweating like a pig (no law-breaking, Miss P!).
Yesterday at hip-hop class, aka sweaty Karen primal, I discovered a great pull a fast one on to keeping filled-in brows put with the aid of Too Faced Shadow Insurance ($17).
Normally, I use this invisible primer to lock eyeshadow downwardly. Before heading to grade last nighttime, on a whim I patted some primer straight onto the sparse patch before filling it in with the Clarins Eyebrow Kit Pro Palette.
I figured the worst that could happen would be beads of blackness sweat streaming down my cheeks (ewww). Fingers crossed and hoping for the best, I went about getting my booty shake on.
You know what? It totally worked. As I Cabbaged Patched and Robo Copped my way through yet some other onetime school routine, the filled-in spot miraculously refused to budge. And even though I was drenched at the end of the ninety-minute class, Raul totally stayed on the 'low. Aye!
While I lurves me some Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I'yard guessing any invisible eyeshadow primer could work. A few to consider: Urban Disuse Potion Primer ($17), Tarte Lifted Natural Eye Primer ($20) and Do good F. Y. Eye ($22).
MAC assault!
In 2 shakes I'k heading over to MAC to check out the new Nail Trend F/W '09 By Jin Presently collection.
I've been testing the shine for immovability over the past week, and so far it's held up actually well. Hither'south an updated photo of Dance All Night (a creamy brick red):
In that location are a few tiny chips and the smoothen has faded (I used a base of operations coat and skipped the top glaze), just overall I'1000 happy. Typing all day, washing dishes without gloves, you proper name it — I really put my nails through the ringer. This new smoothen formulation definitely stays on much improve than the MAC lacquers of yore.
Do you plan on checking out any of these colors? And what's going on with yous this lovely Th?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
